Never listen to the people who say things are impossible. Experience proves life is not a given so get ready for the unexpected. I want my images to both excite and invite a good long look. Is something art because of a name or the work itself; does it ever really matter? I question this often. I like beautiful things...to deconstruct them, rebuild them, and see how they evolve.
Stagnancy scares me and I avoid it through both physical and mental exploration. In my work these boundaries often blur. I am inspired by transitional environments on their way to serve a new purpose. Because of this I must anticipate and respond quickly their occurrence. My purpose is to draw attention to the change around us in hope that it creates a deeper appreciation of what is to come.
I am captivated by color and its seemingly infinite definitions. In my work it is the bridge between my emotional state and the eye of the viewer.
